Take a Load Off

The cargo-carrying capacity of the Sherpa Cart may allow a person to double the amount they would normally carry in a back pack, without all the pain. Though the cart is sturdy enough to carry heavier loads, the recommended carrying weight of the hand cart should be no more than 60 to 120 pounds (enough for two people on a weekend camp out) depending on the traveling surface, distance to cover, and the user's physical condition and abilities.
When loading, place your heaviest objects down over the wheels and close to the frame. Put your lighter items the on top, higher and closer to cart handles. Also, fasten down and secure all items to keep them from shifting.
